The ringing details for the Finnish bird came back this afternoon. It was ringed on 2.9.15, in its hatch year, on Sappi, a tiny little island off the coast of Finland, west of Tampere. That's a distance of 1612km travelled-to winter in Queensbury! It was still here this morning.
Still at least 7 Bramblings, the Treecreeper was in again this afternoon and I keep hearing and occasionally seeing a group of Redwings.
I'm surprised they didn't all blow away in yesterday's wind.
