Pink-footed Bonus

Tried Soil Hell before going down to Ogden Res via the plantation. Raggalds had produced c75 flying Lapwing but nothing on the flood.
SH 2 Skylark, ditto Redwing, 1m Reed Bunting, c10 Meadow Pipit, 6/7 small gulls up above, c50 Starling.

Having crossed over Coal Lane to the top plantation track, recent history repeated itself and then some. At mid-day 2 large skeins of Pink-footed Geese were flying over from the Keelham/Denholme area heading towards Fly Flatts. I'll try and count birds from the many photos I took but a guestimate is around the 300 mark. The 2 skeins merged, heading beyond FF toward Walshaw Dean, about turned, considered FF again then were off back on the roughly WNW trail.
Ogden Res again was virtually devoid of passerines but had two good points. BHG bearing leg ring X2T6 was showing off on the railings once more. Here are the ringing details.

A Kingfisher was seen flying over the water close by the W bank (Skirden Clough track) heading toward the main overflow.
